I gifted this to a new Charge RN and she loves it! Of course, I gave her a pack of sharpies to complement her gift and she couldn't be happier with it. It's easily cleaned, conviently sized, and really helps to organize everything she needs done for the whole floor.
Works as advertised
I work in a busy ER and the blank notebook is perfect as patients leave I can just erase and start a new page without having to toss paper in the shred box or keep up with multiple sheets at a time. Several of my coworkers have commented on how handy it was.
I'm used to a templated paper report sheet. I did order the book with the the template, but it did not work for me on the med/surg unit I work on. Moxie PRN was amazing with letting me return it!! As soon as I saw they had a blank page one, I ordered it with no hesitation! It has taken me a few shifts to get used to it, but I love it!! I have even used it on the COVID unit because I'm wiping it completely clean with alcohol at the end of the shift. It has been a challenge to keep it from smearing because of how much hand sanitizer I use. I will definitely be ordering additional pop in blank pages soon. Thank you!
I love the idea of this book. I was super excited to have my new brain.... However... It takes about 4 alcohol swabs per page (single side) to get all of the ink completely off. Idk if I'm just Type A, but if I see a left over smudge, I get a theoretical eye twitch. Now, I would probably overlook this because of how excited and cool I felt, BUT it is much smaller than I thought it would be. About the size of my hand (I don't have particularly large hands). When I worked med surg, the premade layout would have been my dream come true, but I now work in the pediatric cardiovascular ICU. There are so many details that I need to know about each patient, that I pretty much have to take up half the book for one patient. I don't have the patience to do that much flipping to see all of one patient's information. If it were just a tad bigger it would probably the best thing ever and I would have 3 just because.
